About me

I am a technology journalist, analyst, and educator working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital wellbeing.

For years, I have been present where technology quietly reshapes lives — in public institutions, schools, policy discussions, and media debates. I translate complex technical systems into insights that can be questioned, taught, and held accountable. Not to make them more palatable, but to make their consequences visible.

Much of my work is driven by a simple tension: technology is often presented as neutral, inevitable, or too complex to challenge — while its impacts are anything but. Decisions made in boardrooms, codebases, and policy drafts ripple outward, shaping attention, access, safety, and power. Too often, the people most affected are the least heard.

I speak up because I cannot stand by when injustices unfold quietly around us. Technology shapes how people learn, decide, and pay attention — and too often, the systems that influence us the most are designed without accountability, human oversight, or concern for those they impact. I’ve witnessed what happens when harm goes unseen, when decisions are made in silence, and when those most affected have no voice in the room.

For me, staying quiet is not an option. Silence is never neutral. Responsibility is a choice. Every article I write, every workshop I lead, every talk I give is an attempt to make the invisible visible, to challenge assumptions, and to insist that technology should serves people — not the other way around.

I work with AI not to accelerate adoption or celebrate novelty, but to insist on responsibility, human agency, and restraint. I challenge the idea that harm is an acceptable side effect of progress, and I push back against the quiet normalization of systems that influence behavior and decision-making without transparency or accountability.

My academic grounding in Digital, New Technology, and Public Policy at Sciences Po Paris gave me the tools to connect technology with governance, ethics, and real-world consequences — and reinforced a conviction I carry through all my work: choosing not to intervene is itself a political act.

At the core of my work is advocacy for technology that is accountable, human-centered, and trustworthy — and for conversations that include those who are most often abstracted, ignored, or spoken about, rather than listened to. I fight for those who are too often unheard: students navigating AI-driven learning systems, communities affected by opaque digital policies, and individuals whose safety or rights can be quietly undermined by technological decisions.

There is no such thing as the voiceless. Only the deliberately silenced, or the conveniently unheard. And it is in giving them a voice, in shining light on the systems that shape their lives, that I find my purpose.
